OLD BUSINESS:
The date has been set to visit Hot Springs Baptist Church as a chapter. We will be attending on March 4th at 4:00 p.m. and will meet in room 132.
Steve is getting the small banner for $62 and labels for the donation drive cans. We can do the donation drive as long as we’re outside the city limits.
Steve is going to check the fairgrounds parking lots in preparation for the Mid-America Bike Rally so that we can schedule volunteers for doing the parking during the event.
NEW BUSINESS:
A demolition derby is coming to the fairgrounds in March, Steve is checking into whether we could do the donation drive there.
The Hot Springs Spring Rally will be March 31st at Lander’s Harley. The event will benefit B.A.R.B.S. Place of Hot Springs. Steve will contact the event leader and check whether we could sell ice cream at our booth at the event. The chapter agreed to pay $20 for a booth area and set up for the day. Discussion also ensued regarding having a bake sale for the event.
Retha will call the Texarkana Orphanage to set up a date for our annual food drive that we co-sponsor with Midway Missionary Baptist Church, the dates we are planning are either April 21st or 28th.
Steve talked about the packets we have for carrying ministry materials on our bikes and Stacy passed out packets to the meeting attendees.
Rob asked about a calendar with our chapter events which our website has and can be located at http://rrj77.org and Kathy stated she would send in our events and make sure the calendar is kept up-to-date.
Steve talked about the RRJ International Rally which is held near Fredericktown, MO during the week of Labor Day on Wednesday through Sunday. You will find registration forms in the Riders Call magazines.
